The Change Foundation

Background

The Change Foundation were planning a golf day to celebrate their 40 year anniversary. The event was to be held a premium course to attract and engage with their network of high quality ambassadors and their contacts.

As a well established charity that support disabled and disadvantaged children across the UK predominantly, TCF were looking for a venue that achieved multiple aims.

Brief

The golf day had to be at a course accessible to most of the guests within an hour’s travel from London.

The course had to be at a 4* or 5* location.

As the playing ability of the guests would be diverse, a course that offered something for every level was important.

In addition to finding the course, supporting the day with sourcing auction prizes, entertainment and profile raising to find additional teams and sponsors was required.

Outcome

2k Tiger delivered a wonderful venue in Surrey, and brought in partners who could offer auction prizes and alcohol to enhance the day.

Through regular committee meetings, a site visit and strategy and advice from years in the golf sector, The Change Foundation was able to put on a special day for all their guests:

Andy Sellins, CEO of The Change Foundation on the experience:

2K Tiger have been a great help to The Change Foundation in planning our fundraising golf day. They were particularly helpful in securing such a brilliant venue and many of the players commented that it was the best golf event we have ever run and some said it’s the best charity golf day they have ever been to.
