If you’re looking to grow your connections and build your business by interacting with other businesses, come to the Festival of Business next Thursday 24th February. It’s the premier event for SMEs and entrepreneurial businesses, showcasing and promoting our diverse business community in West London.
West London is one of the best-connected communities in the world for businesses of any size and across sectors, from property and finance to transport and engineering. As a visitor to the Festival, which is free to attend, you’ll meet businesses large and small on over 40 stands, find out what’s going on in the West London business community and take advantage of networking opportunities. You’ll also be able to make international connections, with exhibitors attending from France, India and the Middle East.
Local Businesses Support the Festival
Amongst the wide range of exhibitors is Consolidated Logistics Services (CLS), pioneers in construction and aviation logistics services. As specialists in airport development, and as a major supplier to nearby Heathrow Airport, CLS offer services ranging from cargo and baggage handling to procurement of building materials and health & safety products. Ferose Gazi, Managing Director, said, “CLS offers a wide range of support and operational services to airlines and first-tier suppliers, working in partnership with local businesses and the international supply chain. We are proud to be part of the West London business community”.
Another exhibitor is EWA Controls, who specialise in innovative technologies, providing ventilation controls for safe working environments, suitable for commercial, educational, and domestic buildings. The units sanitize, ventilate and make spaces safe for people to occupy, and include a non-UV LED sanitation system which utilises existing infrastructure and SMART ductless ventilation for individual room applications. Mukesh Aggarwal, Director, said, “We are proud to exhibit at the Festival of Business with our products, which allow greater control by installing the latest technology and reduce energy use within buildings”.
Also exhibiting is Venture X, an international provider of high-quality, flexible workspaces that feature unique amenities and benefits to support business growth. Venture X are rightly proud of their development at Chiswick Park, which is home to some of the world’s leading companies as well as smaller businesses, and features restaurants, bars and gym facilities on site. Bilge Baksan, PR and Community Manager, said, “We offer a variety of business accommodation from private offices and event spaces to meeting pods and hotdesking facilities. We believe that, if people enjoy work, they do better work, and the environment in which they work is vital to achieving this”.
Build Your Brand and Strengthen Your Network
As well as the exhibitors, there are seminars and presentations. One of these will be given by Mrinal Madina, CEO of 2k Tiger, specialists in business development, who provide support to businesses looking for rapid growth. Mrinal’s talk is entitled ‘What They Think of You’, and will focus on building your brand, attracting better business, and strengthening your network of contacts. Mrinal said, “We are delighted to be exhibiting and speaking at the Festival of Business, which is a fantastic showcase for businesses large or small in West London. Do plan your visit, take a look at the companies exhibiting, choose the ones you’d like to meet and allow time to engage with them. Getting involved with one of the best-connected business communities is a must if you want to grow your business.”
The Festival of Business is hosted by the West London Chambers of Commerce. Alan Rides, Managing Director of the Chamber, said, “Our key focus is on helping businesses engage via events, training, and networking. We’re delighted to be hosting the Festival as a hub for local businesses to meet and exchange ideas. At the West London Chamber, we are always happy to connect SME businesses to larger organisations, enabling them to raise their profile and gain more opportunities to grow their businesses.
“At the Festival, you’ll not only understand more about local businesses and develop new connections, you’ll help to keep our economy strong by spending your pound locally in West London. I’d also like to thank our sponsors, Garner & Hancock Solicitors and Costco, without whose support the Festival would not be the successful business event it is.”
